Zelensky: "A decision made without involving Kiev is stillborn."

The Ukrainian president comments on the meeting planned in Alaska.
(LaPresse) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy rejected the formal cession of Ukrainian territory on Saturday , stressing in a video address that Kiev must participate in any negotiations to end the war. He then rejected the planned summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin , warning that any peace agreement that excludes Kiev would lead to "stillborn decisions." The meeting, scheduled for Friday in Alaska, is seen as a potential breakthrough after weeks of frustration that more had not been done to quell the fighting. Zelensky said Ukraine's territorial integrity must not be negotiable and emphasized that a lasting peace must include Ukraine's voice at the table.
